Springtime Skincare Transitions you Should Know

The seasons are changing, your skin care should be too. You skin changes just like the seasons so it’s important to switch up your routine to address your needs!

  1. Reach for a lighter moisturizer

In the winter, the cold 🥶 dry temperatures can leave your skin feeling extremely dry - which is why winter is all about locking in moisture. As Spring brings warmer temperatures, your skin won’t need all that extra moisture. Warmer temperatures allow your skin to produce more of its natural oils. Less is more !

2. Use Spf The sun shining more & the warmer it gets. You want to make sure you’re protecting your skin from excessive sun exposure. Sun exposure is one of the primary causes of premature aging, make note of it & remember that always !

3. Throw out your old a** expired makeup!

I’m not kidding! I’m watching you . Throw out your expired makeup and skincare products. Remeber, bacteria builds up quickly on your makeup and skincare products, especially since they’re continually exposed from opening and closing. You can notice a change of consistency, color, look, and smell… just do yourself a favor and throw it out. Your skin will thank you!

4. Put away the abrasive scrubs and use a gentle exfoliator instead .

Because the winter can dry out your skin creating more dead skin build up it’s okay to break out those scrubs once in awhile... but now you can spoil your skin and treat it nicely with a gentler scrub like glycolic acid !
