Have you ever thought about getting a Permanent Makeup Brow Service done but wasn’t sure which technique would be best for you?
I always get asked this question a lot . “What’s the difference, which brow should I get?”
Let me help you to make your choice a little easier .
None of these techniques are better than the other. It all comes down to personal preference, skin type, and lifestyle.
What is Microblading + who is it for?
Microblading is a technique that uses a manual hand tool to implant pigment into the skin to mimic the look of hair strokes . Proper technique allows for the hairs to follow your natural brow pattern and blend in with your hair . It’s an extremely natural looking brow. This technique is meant to enhance your natural brows & “replace” Individual hairs, not fill your brows as if you were wearing makeup. This technique is the most shallow of all techniques & requires more maintenacne. On average, clients come in for a color boost touch up every 6-12 months. Microblading is not recommended for:
someone with oily/combination
someone who works out
someone who frequently wears makeup
Microblading is perfect for someone who:
has thin or patchy brows
wants a subtle shape enhancement
doesn’t regularly fill their brows
What are Ombré/Powder brows + who are they for?
A lot of people get this technique confused with the traditional ”tattooed brows“ . Even though Permanent Makeup is technically a form of “tattoo”, it is not implanted the same nor is it the same technique in any way, shape or form . Using this method, pigment is implanted with tiny dots, creating pixels to saturate the brows to gradually build up the color. The pigment fades about 30-50% to give you the outcome you want : either light and airy natural looking fuller brows or soft powdery “makeup” looking brows . The brows are more defined than the Microblading method. On average, clients get a color boost touch up every 12-18 months . It truly gives you effortless brows without having to wake up early in the morning Powder brows are perfect for someone who:
has oily/combination skin
works out frequently
wears makeup often
fills in their brows often
What are Combination Brows + Who is it for?
Combo brows are my absolute favorite technique . It’s pretty much exactly what is sounds like .. the combination of Microblading and Powder brows. The best of both worlds. Using this technique can give you the most realistic brows. It is more defined than Microblading but less dramatic than Powder brows. Who is it for ?
anyone. This technique is great for any skin type and lifestyle and is completely customizable to your liking. No two sets of brows are the same . They are made just for you !
